Mask shards are collectible, fragmented upgrade items in the Hollow Knight series that increase the protagonist's maximum health.
Vessel fragments are collectible upgrade items, with three required to form a full Soul Vessel, increasing the player's maximum SOUL capacity by 33% per vessel.
Charms are unique, equippable accessories that provide passive buffs, specialized abilities, and stat enhancements to the Knight.
Bosses are unique, challenging enemies with high health and distinct attack patterns, often gating progression, rewarding key items, or revealing lore.
